Threatening Note Found at King Philip Regional High School
WRENTHAM — Superintendent Paul Zinni reports that a threatening note was found in a boys bathroom at King Philip Regional High School earlier today.
On Wednesday afternoon, high school officials were made aware of a non-specific threat written on a urinal.
The Wrentham Police Department was immediately notified and responded.
Police believe the threat is not credible and school was dismissed in the normal fashion today. At this time it is not known when the threat was written.
The Wrentham Police school resource officer was notified of the incident and, along with Wrentham detectives, will attempt to determine who is responsible.
“Student safety is a top priority for our school district and threats of any kind will be taken extremely seriously,” Superintendent Zinni said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Wrentham Police Department at 508-384-2121.
