King Philip DECA Hosts Annual Initiation Breakfast
WRENTHAM — King Philip DECA Vice President of Marketing Emma Daly would like to provide an update on the high school’s business club:
Last week, the King Philip DECA chapter had its annual DECA initiation ceremony and breakfast. The event was held to induct the new junior and sophomore members, as well as to officially induct the new chapter officers.
KPHS Vice Principal Kip Lewis, started the morning with a welcoming introduction and keynote speaker, Nick Sammarco gave an inspiring speech to the new and returning members. Then VP of Leadership Kylie Breen gave a speech to the seniors to encourage them to have a successful final year in the DECA program.
The ceremony ended on a high note with President Jake Anderson’s speech to the sophomore and junior class to motivate them to work hard to set the foundation for success in their first year as part of KP DECA.
The newly inducted students and their parents were then brought into the cafeteria to enjoy a meal catered by King Street Café.
The day was full of motivation, optimism and high hopes of what the 2018-2019 DECA year will bring.
